Marcoantonio Sanfeliu Giaimo, “Marco,” founded Sanfelino to share his love of cartagena with friends and visitors from all across the globe. Born and raised in Cartagena, Marco is on a mission to help guests experience Cartagena like a local with local access to only the most authentic restaurants, attractions, events, and nightlife.
¨I grew up in a multicultural family; my grandparents migrated from Italy and Spain after World War II and made Cartagena their new home. I had the fortune to fall in love with Cartagena through their eyes, listening to their stories about the wonders and secrets of La Heroica. Nowadays, the city offers much more, featuring the country’s finest and most luxurious boutique hotels, bars, restaurants, and private villas, which I get to explore firsthand while enjoying life as a local. We combine our passion for food, the ocean, learning, exploring new places, and Dolce far niente to bring you the ultimate holiday in this beautiful city¨
Marco was professionally trained for more than 6 years in the hospitality industry traveling to 28 countries. Marco and his team have perfected the art of curating the ideal experience for every guest. Ultimately, we treat every guest with the same love as our own relatives, creating a once-in-a-lifetime experience that can’t be found anywhere else.
